Keeping with the theme of video for the week, I wanted to share another news story with you.  This is one of the very first GridSmart installations in Sevierville, Tennessee.  As I have blogged in the past, and as you have probably read in the Case Study, Sevierville deployed GridSmart to manage the nearly 13 million visitors flowing through the City en route to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and and other tourist destinations located in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

The local ABC affiliate here in Knoxville covered the story in 2009 when the project was deemed an “experiment”, and decided to run a follow up on it after almost three years in operation.  What did the City have to say?  Watch the story.
