Updates on House and Senate Transportation Bills

The House bill was unanimously approved by the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee last Friday.  As a reminder, this is a five-year, $260 billion bill to fund federal highway, transit and safety programs.  The bill consolidates almost 70 existing programs, along with earmarks, and provides more empowerment for the States relative to project approvals and deadlines.
