Image Processing Engineer
The image Processing Engineer is responsible for design and development of advanced image processing software for automated video surveillance. The real-time software focuses on object recognition, object tracking, image stabilization, classification, etc. This is a senior role in the development of image processing algorithms for the GridSmart™ product line.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing real-time platform-independent image processing code for use in embedded systems
- Developing products for new video traffic management applications
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience developing Software (C, C++, C#)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science; Advanced degrees are a plus
- Experience in developing software for embedded systems, video processors or PCs
- Experience in various image processing, signal processing and pattern recognition technologies
